USA Today charts the changing Radio landscape

Trends in Radio formats are summed up in this USA Today article.

It’s funny that these changes are positioned as a response to the challenges of Satellite Radio and iPods, considering radio stations have been changing formats for generations – this is just more of the same.

Still, a nice recap of where we are.

Note the prediction that the JACK format would be in 100 markets by the end of the year. I’m so glad I’ll be proved right on that one. To say I was out on a limb last year when I predicted that is an understatement.
