Or by focusing on the kind of passion that creates listening behaviors which lead to ratings?
This is no academic distinction. Because you need to fundamentally understand that it's less important to keep listeners tuning in than it is to provide reasons for them to come back when they invariably go away.
Keeping them tuned is about removing obstacles, but bringing them back is about adding value.
