Given all the grief that Emmis rightfully took over the NY Hot 97 parody song flap, it’s time to recognize that they’re making some smart mea culpas (firing a couple morning staffers and donating big bucks to charity).
The morning show made a mistake, and the company has made up for it.
Hopefully the New York community will now let it go. Everybody makes mistakes. It’s how you recover from them that counts.
