From today’s Radio Ink:
Morality in Media president Robert Peters claims he’s not willing to back off. “There is no reason why Howard Stern should be regulated on one form of radio media but not the other,” Peters stated. “Whether broadcast from a tower or a satellite, it is still the public airwaves and the Howard Stern Show should still be subject to broadcast indecency laws.”
Someone should sit Mr. Peters down and explain to him what “public airwaves” are.
Would you like to do it, or should I?
If Mr. Peters believes anything floating around in the ether is part of the “public airwaves,” then why doesn’t he take on the regulation of pollen, because that problem annoys many more people than Howard does.
