It amounts to offering “15 minutes of fame” instead of a chance in a million to win a contest. And those 15 minutes are on YOUR station.
This particular approach solicits for on-air movie reviewers, but you could solicit listener input for anything.
And remember, every entrant provides their email address and is automatically added to your “listener community” (or what some folks still call their “database”).
