Nostalgia is a funny thing. What might be a fond memory to you and me may be a source of intense frustration for someone like
Himan Brown, creator of the venerable CBS Radio Mystery Theater.
If you grew up in the 70's (or earlier) you'll probably know this show. It may be one reason you're in radio today. It had a profound effect on me in its time, and there is nothing like it today.
I talked with Himan, a giant in radio's history and a nonagenarian who is at once proud and extremely bitter.
This is not one of those podcasts with a marketing lesson. Unless that lesson is one about the march of progress.
