I’ve been seeing this hyphenate pop up a LOT lately. I’d say three different places within the past week alone.
The hyphenate is “de-stress.”
My guess is that this isn’t even a recognized word, hyphenated or otherwise. But not only does it work, it works in a lot of places!
For those of you in morbid fear of the word “relax,” and for those who haven’t yet discovered that words like “Lite” and “Soft” don’t have a clear benefit or promise and, frankly, have the potential to make folks feel old:
“De-stress” is for you.
