A Nano for you, a frequent listener for me

Why don’t we give away hot electronics items as lures to get listeners to sign up for our station member lists?
Nine out of ten stations I talk to have databases which are so small as to be irrelevant.
You can fix that.
Take a page from KCRW. If they don’t get sign-ups, they don’t get dollars. Every commercial station could learn a thing or two from the public stations that depend on databases for the livelihood.
