From Inside Radio:
Clear Channel says it will have 200 stations running in HD by next week…Radio’s biggest challenge with HD is the marketing. Consumers still don’t know what it is. (Ask your neighbors.)
I disagree. Radio’s biggest challenge is not the marketing. The challenge is in identifying the compelling need. The former statement presumes HD radio can be “pushed.” The latter presumes that it will be “pulled.”
The problem, as your neighbors know full well, is that there is no “pull.”
