I read this entire article – and the news release which prompted it – and I can’t figure out what the link is.
It seems to me what Arbitron is arguing here is that people who watch Reality TV listen to Morning Radio.
The idea that PPM can show you what folks watch and what they listen to is a fact that goes well beyond Reality TV and Morning Shows. Why narrow it to those two topics?
I’m guessing the primary link here is the one between Arbitron and their desire to publicize PPM.
And there’s nothing wrong with that. But let’s understand what’s making the spin spin.
