Madison Avenue gets Infinity’s message wrong
For whatever reason, Madison Avenue and the trades which slavishly follow it have assumed that simply because Infinity Broadcasting has fired their internal research division it means they’re no longer doing any research.
Well, I can tell you from first-hand experience they did research before they had an internal division, they did it while they had an internal division, and they’ll be doing it after they had an internal division.
This company believes in understanding what their audiences want as much or more than any other broadcaster does.
So lay off, Madison Avenue.
