Lack of prep will not land you a million dollar morning show gig

If you haven’t visited Tracy Johnson’s “Million Dollar Morning Show” blog yet, you really should.

Tracy’s station, KFMB-FM (“JACK” in San Diego) has thrown open the doors for new talent and the grand prize is a million dollar gig.

But as you peruse Tracy’s progress (which is discussed with notable candor), also note Tracy’s post regarding a Roy “Wizard of Ads” Williams article on Morning Shows.

“Why does radio not require their talent to prepare their words in advance?” asks Roy.

Why, indeed?
