His E! TV show is ending and the value of another Stern TV show is clearly diminished without interest being stoked by the free airwaves of Radio.
Will he get a deal with Spike TV or another cable net? Probably. But is it just coincidence that the current deal is winding down just as Stern exits Radio stage right?
The nightmare scenario is for Howard Stern to leave Radio with great fanfare – and for all of us who listen to settle on something else every morning and to slowly and surely forget Howard even exists.
Not even half a billion dollars can keep a Howard sleeping through that one.
