This is the new radio station-oriented web music store being marketed now by Jeff Spector. You can find several different formatted examples of TuneGenie here.
Listeners dive in, download songs, burn them to a CD, etc. They pay 99 cents a song and your station gets a piece of the action.
I really like this idea because it draws people to the website and involves them in your station. And involvement is likely to pay for itself in loyalty – so the money to be earned is strictly icing on the cake.
