…in the 1983 Martha Coolidge VH1 Classic Valley Girl, one of the hit-makingest movies of all time:
Nick Cage is driving Valley girl Deborah Foreman to a club in Hollywood – then, as now, a sketchy part of town at night. They pass some shady characters, when Nick says:
“If they try to steal the car, save the radio.”
You’d never ever hear that line of dialogue in a movie today.
It ain’t 1983 any more, folks.
