Radio Ink’s Convergence Conference wraps in Silicon Valley

Why aren’t there more events like this in the radio industry?

Maybe there will be.

Here are some clips from Radio Ink’s Convergence conference held over the past couple days in San Jose:

I was very pleased to be a tiny part of this conference because it’s a pleasure to rub shoulders with a crowd of broadcasters and their partners who are on the forward edge of the future of radio, no matter what the big newspapers write and no matter who in the industry lays off whom.

Thanks to Eric Rhoads for staging a great event.

From what I understand, a DVD of the event is available from Radio Ink, so I urge you to contact them directly.

Here’s a good summary of the panel I hosted on how to “revitalize stodgy old media.”
